Our Instructors and Students are back from the World Championships!

Over the years, the National Karate Schools have produced some of the finest martial artists in the country. We have been blessed to produce World rated competitors in nearly every arena of competition including professional Kickboxing and Sport Karate tournaments (in both Forms and Sparring).  That tradition of top fighters and form competitors continues today with dozens of NK Black Belts holding top World Rankings and Championships. Last week we had Instructors and Students compete successfully in two different World Championships and we congratulate them all!

WAKO World Championships in Budapest

National Karate Instructor Jenn Tohtz returned from the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary with the Bronze Medal. Two years ago she took home the Gold.  Congratulations on another great showing in the World Championships!

WKC World Championships in Orlando

Alex Dingmann and three students, Enzo Lucatorto, Miles Bates and Micah Bates qualified for TEAM USA and went to the WKC World Championships in Orlando, Florida. (Last year it was held in Dublin, Ireland)

Alex Dingmann, took home the Bronze Medal! He is the National Karate Competition Team Captain and Associate Director at our Bartlett school.

In 2015, Miles Bates took home the Bronze Medal at the World Championships and last week he took home the Silver Medal!

Micah Bates fought well and lost to the Gold Medal winner. We are very proud of this young rising star.

Enzo Lucatorto went crazy and won 6 Medals! He took a Gold Medal in Extreme Form, a Gold Medal in Extreme Weapons, a Silver Medal in Creative Form, a Silver Medal in Creative Weapons, a Silver Medal in Fighting, and a Silver in Team Fighting!  Wow!
